薄荷森林 The Mint Forest

通常我想認真做的事，

我就會很不顧一切、不惜成本的去做。

有時候我會為了一個案子，或是一個工作，

添購一些原本我沒有在用的東西。

不過會購買的東西當然也是可以長久使用的才會買。

曾經為了燒錄光碟，求助店家和朋友都無路，乾脆自己去買一台4X的燒錄機。

做3D時，為了節省建模和render圖時間，換了CPU、顯示卡。

最近因為要使用新的翻譯軟體只有windows版，

別無選擇的情況下去買了Windows來裝在我的MacBook上。

不過因為我同時要用到Mac的功能，

無法單純用Boot Camp來執行，

所以找了一些虛擬機器軟體來用。

一開始當然是用免費的VirtualBox。

用了幾個禮拜覺得還不錯，

最近發現我的macbook電池持續膨脹。

起初不以為意。

而且電池循環週期355，健康度在80%左右，

續電力也很足夠。

不過最近實在脹到讓我有點擔心。

上網搜尋了一下發現有可能會損壞鍵盤和觸控板。

於是跑了一趟Sydney Apple Store，

看看有沒有可能換個新的。

沒想到Genius Bar 需要預約，

沒有預約只好在現場等候空檔。

我的Macbook也難逃top case裂掉的命運。

其實已經裂一陣子了（有一年了吧！），

只是不影響使用，

而且不知道送修要多久。

因為我是重度使用者，

所以也沒什麼理它。

不過因為我的Apple Care今年八月就要到期了，

想說趁到期前趕快把它換一換。

順便專心念書趕結業。

I found a good way of learning English which is cost-free.

It is podcast.

The podcast is a webcast that is pre-recorded and you can download to listen or watch it offline.

There are many kinds of podcasts to be supported on internet.

And I download the programs of being able to improve English from itunes and put into my iPod, then I can listen it everywhere.

By the way, recommend two podcasts of learning English:

Recently I bought two softwares. One is ilife and the other is Aperture.

The reason why I bought iLife is the function which can establish faces base on who's in your photos.

But after importing more than 30,000 photos, it occupied huge memory and caused my macbook operated slowly.

Besides that, The faces I established would combine automatically, I lost my effort for that.

So I give up.

I always use photoshop to fix pictures for a long time, but used "sharing edition."

I think that should buy normal edition lately, however I was scared when I saw the price.

This is the biggest Apple flag store in Sydney.

It is 3 floors and there are many various products provide customer to use, such as iPod, iPhone, iMac and Macbook (Pro) etc.

I went here sometimes to try some new devices.

一共有三層樓。

裡頭有各式各樣的產品提供給消費者使用。

我有時候會來這裡試試新產品。
